Review
The Ides of March (George Clooney, 2011)
More a Greek Tragedy dealing with politics than a political film.
Gosling, the idealist has no place in the political world, or at least, no hope. His fall is his loss of the idealism that builds human beings, even nations.
Bu the problem is not its message or its execution. The problem lies in it’s sterility. It is just another another well-tailored topical (Oscar) film from Clooney.
